The firm's Healthcare Litigation team, headed by partner Deborah Olsen deBoer, has won two more victories. We argued successfully in separate motions that the lawsuits were filed too late, and in one case that the medical malpractice claims lacked merit as a matter of law.

Partners Sandy Calin and Phil Tiberi recently attended a cyber-technology law conference in Philadelphia. This is an exciting new area of law and part of KDEK's expanding practice.

Not only has the firm continue to win summary judgment motions at the trial level, but in another recent victory, partner Kathy Stosuy was successful arguing before the California Court of Appeal that the case was filed too late. The granting of her motion summary judgment was affirmed by the California Court of Appeal.

Partner Jeff Keane won a defense trial verdict (11-1) on April 6, 2011. He represented an eye institute and a doctor. The case was tried in Riverside County Superior Court, Indio Branch.
